Welcome to Forgue School

About us

Forgue School was built in 1865 and is situated approximately 8 miles east of Huntly. It is a rural primary school for children aged 5 – 12. All children are taught in a composite P1 – P7 class. We believe that attitudes to learning are as important as cognitive development. We want our pupils to be happy and care about others, to have the desire to learn and the necessary skills and aptitudes to become independent learners. Within a caring, stimulating environment, we will strive to promote purposeful activity, through which each child from Primary 1 to Primary 7 will extend his/ her understanding in all areas of the curriculum.
